Travelling South, whilst bypassing Berwick-
After 7.5 miles, you will pass Chirnside Primary School on the right. Take the next left (B6437) by the Chirnside Inn.
After 1 mile you cross the river Whiteadder and then take a right turn signposted fo Countryside Holiday Cottages. Allanbank Courtyard is less than a mile on the left.
At Grantshouse take the turn south towards Duns (A6112).
After 1.2 miles take the left turn for Drakemyre.
At cross roads go straight ahead.
Follow road left and right through Lintlaw and at next T junction go left onto the B6355.
The B6355 then turns sharp right and left. At the left turn take the small road that goes straight on towards Edrom (unsuitable for heavy vehicles).
You cross the river Whiteadder, the road turns sharp right and there is then a sharp left turn that you should take climbing out of the river valley.
At the cross roads you cross the A6105 and take the road marked as no-
At the T junction turn left. Allanbank Courtyard is ½ a mile on the right.
