Mike Hardy has many years experience in teaching at every level. He teaches through schools and nurseries and also privately at Allanbank.

Trumpet lessons are available for beginners through to diploma level. Mike plays both classical trumpet and jazz. He is currently principal trumpet with the Scottish Sinfonia and a regular member of the Jazz Bar Big Band in Edinburgh as well as playing freelance.

Mike also has over 20 years experience giving piano lessons and is happy to take beginners and progressing students, and also those preparing for examinations.

Mike performs regularly in concerts and shows. He has performed concertos with the Cambridge University Music Society, Scottish Sinfonia, Peebles Orchestra and is happy to play for weddings, church services, or as a member of an orchestra or band.

He can also provide ensembles from brass quintets, jazz quartets, or even a full 18piece big band.
